The 971-metre-high Wurmberg is the largest alpine ski centre in the Harz and offers six lifts
and a total of 13 km of partly groomed slopes. The longest of the 12 pistes
4.3 km long and 405 metres in altitude down to Braunlage, making it Germany's longest ski slope north of the Alps.

The varied terrain on the Wurmberg ranges from the ski school slope to the easy "Große
Wurmberg descent" and the sunny slope, ideal for carving, to the 65% steep, mega-wide Hexenritt piste.
