Trail Dr. Hampe Hut - Bad Sachsa

The trail begins at the Ravensberg Sports Center (upper parking lot) and gently ascends for the first 1,500 m to the Stephan Hut.

From here, it goes downhill for 800 m and then uphill in two short climbs to the Dr. Hampe Hut, the turning point. From here, you will ascend again to 620 meters above sea level to the Stephan Hut, and from there you reach the starting point via a beautiful descent followed by an ascent past the Uffequellen Hut.

Together with municipalities in the West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Ski Safety Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years for the qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, marked with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
