Stephanshütte Circular Course - Bad Sachsa

The easiest and shortest tour in Bad Sachsa is the Stephanhütte circular course.

The first 1,500 m is almost flat at nearly the same altitude up to the Stephanhütte, the turnaround point. From here you ride about 2,000 m downhill, and after a small ascent you reach the Uffequellenhütte. Via small descents and ascents, you reach the starting point of the tour.

Together with municipalities in the western Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years to improve the quality development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, marked with a uniform signage system, and equipped with information boards.
