Directions

The tour starts in Sankt Andreasberg, where energy is still generated from hydropower as it was over 300 years ago. There you can admire the last still functional "Fahrkunst" in the world at the Grube Samson Mining Museum before continuing the ride to the Rehberger Graben.

Just behind Sankt Andreasberg you will encounter the "new" Rehberger Graben before it disappears into the Tiefer Gesehr Wasserlauf tunnel. Afterwards, the route passes by the largest of the Upper Harz ponds, the Oderteich. Over Achtermannshöhe the path leads past the Hahnenkleeklippen. From there you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Rehberg and the Oder winding in the depths before returning to Sankt Andreasberg.
