- Destination: Taternplatz start, connection, and end point of the Kreuzberg trail and the Hasenberg trail
From here, a versatile trail network opens up on both sides of the Harzhochstraße. Please use the large car park on the left side for parking.
On the right side, you can walk left around to the Kaysereiche and back via the Gewitterplatz. Use the overall map at the start, which is also posted at the Taternplatz. You can also find this on our homepage at www.bad-grund.de under "Grundinchen informiert" as a PDF for download. At the end of the car park going east, you will find the connection via the Iberg trail to the Hasenberg trail, which leads to Wildemann. This in turn connects to the Bromberg trail, which leads up to the Sternplatz above Seesen.
The large Kreuzberg trail (red) is a circular route with a length of 7.51 km and ranges in elevation between 503 and 597 meters. The small trail (blue) is 5.8 km long and has 93 meters of elevation gain. In case of sufficient snow, the trail is groomed with a double track machine. It corresponds to a medium difficulty level.
On the valley side towards Bad Grund, the ski hiking trail connects, which leads to Bad Grund. It is also suitable as an access route from Bad Grund. This route is groomed when there is sufficient snow.
The Kreuzberg trail is one of four trails between Bad Grund, Wildemann, and Seesen with a total network length of 27.8 km. The starting point for the four medium difficulty cross-country ski trails is the Taternplatz (approx. 15 minutes from the Seesen motorway exit), which lies exactly between Bad Grund and Wildemann on the Harzhochstraße. The trails are situated at elevations between 450 and 597 m. To the west is the Kreuzberg trail in two different lengths; the Iberg trail links the Kreuzberg trail with the Hasenberg trail to the north.
