- Destination: Entrance to Gitteldschen Valley via the ski hiking trail to Gallenberg
First, a gentle ascent leads along a forest road in the Gitteldschen Valley to the former wildlife feeding area, then we climb right towards the pavilion on Hasenberg.
Then continue right along Silberkammerweg to the Keller, where at a left bend the climb to Moltkes-Warte begins. From here we continue gently over the Wetterwarte to the Spinne, then left along Quellenweg to Silberkammerweg and over Gallenberg back into Gitteldschen Valley.
From Spinne, a ski hiking trail leads to Schweinebraten. At Schweinebraten, bear half-right onto a connecting trail (Ibergloipe) to the Kreuzberg trail towards Bad Grund (20 km)
The Hasenberg trail is one of four trails between Wildemann, Bad Grund and Seesen with a total network length of 27.8 km. The starting point of the four medium difficulty cross-country ski trails is Taternplatz (about 15 min from the Seesen motorway exit), located exactly between Bad Grund and Wildemann on Harzhochstraße. The trails are situated at an elevation between 450 and 597 m. To the west is the Kreuzberg trail in two different lengths; the Iberg trail connects the Kreuzberg trail with the Hasenberg trail in a northern direction.
Information:
Access from Wildemann to the Hasenberg trail is currently not possible due to some trees fallen across the route caused by a storm. Alternatively, it is currently possible to access the Hasenberg trail from Wildemann via the forest road to Schweinebraten, or from Taternplatz via the Iberg trail.
The connection between Hasenberg and Gallenberg trails is also not passable.
