From here, a versatile network of trails opens up to both sides of the Harzhochstraße. Please use the large parking lot on the left side for parking.
On the right side, you can run left around to the Kaysereiche and return via the Gewitterplatz. Refer to the overall map at the start, which is also posted at the Taternplatz. You can also find this on our homepage at www.bad-grund.de under "Grundinchen informiert" as a PDF for download. At the end of the parking lot to the east, you will find the connection via the Ibergloipe to the Hasenbergloipe, which leads to Wildemann. This in turn connects to the Bromberg-Loipe, which runs up to the Sternplatz above Seesen.
The large Kreuzbergloipe (red) is a circular route with a length of 7.51 km and is at an elevation between 503 and 597 meters. The small trail (blue) has a length of 5.8 km with 93 meters of elevation gain. With sufficient snow cover, the trail is groomed with a double track grooming machine. It corresponds to a medium level of difficulty.
On the valley side towards Bad Grund, the ski hiking trail connects, through which you can reach Bad Grund. It is also suitable as an approach route from Bad Grund. This route is also groomed when there is enough snow.
The Kreuzbergloipe is one of the 4 trails between Bad Grund, Wildemann, and Seesen with a total network length of 27.8 km. The starting point for the four cross-country ski trails of medium difficulty is the Taternplatz (about 15 minutes from the Seesen motorway exit), which is located exactly between Bad Grund and Wildemann on the Harzhochstraße. The trails are located at an altitude between 450 and 597 m. To the west, the Kreuzbergloipe exists in two different lengths, and the Iberg-Loipe connects the Kreuzbergloipe with the Hasenbergloipe to the north.
