The route leads from the edges of the South Harz to the surrounding heights.

Moderate mountain route with a steep trail ascent to Ravensberg. There and on the Stöberhai are good viewpoints, which is why both mountains are popular hiking destinations. During the Cold War, listening posts of the Bundeswehr were located on both peaks. From there, it goes above the Oder dam back to Bad Lauterberg.

Directions & Parking facilities

The Barbis station (a district of Bad Lauterberg) is about 5.5 km from the eastern center and the Tourist Information in the Kurpark. From there, you can take the four MTB routes BL1 to BL4.
