Directions

The starting point is the train station in Thale. From here, we initially cycle relatively flat eastward through Neinstedt, Stecklenberg, Bad Suderode, Gernrode, and Rieder until shortly before Ballenstedt where we meet the B185. We follow this clockwise over Mägdesprung uphill to Alexisbad. In Alexisbad, we cross the B242 and continue via Silberhütte and Straßberg to Güntersberge. Upon arrival, we again cross the B242 and reach the highest point of our route via Bärenrode and Friedrichsbrunn. From here, we descend for about 4.5 km past the Hexentanzplatz back to our starting point in Thale.
