10th Stage Great Adventure Cycling Tour: Niederdorla - Bad Langensalza

From the center of Germany, the route steadily climbs towards Hainich. Before the town of Kammerforst, a short detour to Hainich House is recommended, where you can rest with a good view or stop at the forest inn. The route then leads you on well-rideable gravel roads, but continually uphill into the Hainich National Park. During the ascent, there are repeatedly wonderful viewpoints and rest opportunities. Above Craula, you reach the highest point of this stage. From here, the view extends far into the Thuringian Basin and the Thuringian Forest. A break is also recommended at the Thiemsburg Forest House to visit the treetop path. From there, it goes only downhill on gravel and asphalt roads to Bad Langensalza. Attention: Here, you must ride at walking pace in the market area!
