To the Kästeklippen

This initially strenuous route starts at the parking lot at the racecourse. We first follow the path up to the forest, but before it, we turn right at a water reservoir. We pass Café Goldberg and reach an intersection at the campsite, where we go straight ahead. Shortly before Oker, we reach an intersection, where we do not turn sharp left, but only left (90°) up the hill. Before reaching Adenbergplatz, we have to turn right and then follow the path to its end. From there, go straight ahead. At Adenbergplatz, we can actually take a break; later, the slightly ascending, straight path leads towards Kästeklippe (Steinbrecherweg) and after 300 meters, turn right. This path leads us to the paved Kästestraße. (Possibility to stop and nice view at Kästeklippe.) On the paved road, take the first turn right and shortly after left, then after another kilometer, go straight ahead. Take the next turn left onto Sandbrink and follow it over the paved Kästestraße and then straight ahead onto Goldbergstraße. At the next large intersection, turn right down to Bad Harzburg. Then go straight and always follow the path downhill. (Attention: barrier). The paved road reached should be known. From here, go right, past Café Goldberg, half left, and then before the water reservoir, left again to the starting point.
