The Hasselkopf trail is a beautiful ski touring route located at an almost level altitude of 600 m above sea level.

The route allows for variable loops of 5 or 12 km. The total ascent is 265 m. At the "Schweinepfahl," you can switch to the Südharz trail (towards Stöberhai), the Kaiserweg trail (towards Wieda), or the Ebersberg trail (Hohegeiß).

This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail.
Together with municipalities in the West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years to qualitatively develop the network of trails in the Harz. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
