This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail.
Together with municipalities in West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Foundation for Safety in Skiing (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have committed to the qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz in recent years. The trails were certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, marked with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
