From the Kurhaus Sankt Andreasberg up to Clausthaler-Straße and then turn right, down into Braunlager-Straße.
Then take the first road "Am Gesehr" up to the left and continue straight on up to Jordanshöhe. Between the Naturfreundehaus (left) and the Eichsfelderhütte (right), the trail descends to the Rehberger Graben in the direction of the Rehberger Grabenhaus. At the first crossroads, follow the signs for "Rinderstall" downhill. Via Lochchaussee, the trail descends gently through a unique Harz forest landscape to Odertalstraße, which you follow to the right to Rinderstall.
If the snow conditions are good, you can treat yourself to some tobogganing fun here (approx. 3 km downhill) or hike on to Oderhaus in the direction of the national park administration. After the approx. 8 km hike, you can easily take the bus back to Sankt Andreasberg from Oderhaus.
