Hike above Sankt Andreasberg to the Matthias-Schmidt-Baude.

The 1.8 km long hike starts at Braunlager Straße - Panoramapark holiday home complex.

On the footpath, it goes along the street, past the Roter Bär inn and further to the Eschenberger Planweg. Turn right here and do not leave the Planweg until you reach the Matthias-Schmidt-Baude. From Matthias-Schmidt-Berg, you have a unique view of the snow-covered mountain town and the skiing on the slope.

Return the same way from here or take the lift down to the valley and back to the town area via Wäschegrund.
