The trail starts at the trail gate in Braunlager Straße and leads through the mountain meadows near Sankt Andreasberg.
500 m after the start, you have a wonderful view of the Brocken and the Wurmberg. The trail ends after 3 km at the Dreibrode parking lot on Clausthaler Straße.
