The Beerberg route starts at the Loipentor on Braunlage Street and leads over the meadows near the town, offering a view of St. Andreasberg.

The route ends again at the Loipentor.

This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail .
Together with municipalities in the West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Ski Sport Safety Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have in recent years worked towards a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria , signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
