From the collegiate church Gernrode, follow the signs of the Deutsche Könige hiking trail to the Behringer Fountain in Bad Suderode. There, turn right onto the Selketalstieg and follow it – past the Bückemühle, the Dreibogen Bridge, Quarmbeck and the Quarmbach settlement – to Quedlinburg. From the path, you will have beautiful views of the Harz foothills (Roßtrappe, Hexentanzplatz, Teufelsmauer, Regenstein, and much more).
