MTB tour for free

What's on offer?
We experience the Harz Mountains! On a Cross Country Tour For Free of approx. 35 km / approx. 630 hm you will be given the opportunity to get to know the fascinating landscape of the Harz, to find hidden places for excursions and to ask for possible destinations / tours (insider tips) for the coming holidays. Local tour guides who know where to go will lead the tour over gravel roads, forest roads, meadow paths and easy trails to vantage points and, if you wish, will also give you tips on how to improve your riding technique. Participants will be shown the beautiful surroundings around Braunlage by local tour guides. Among other things, we visit Germany's oldest dam and ride along a World Heritage Site. As we also roll through the Harz National Park, participants learn a lot about forest change.

If I don't have an MTB?
In Braunlage there are some possibilities to rent good MTB / E-MTB / Pedelecs. Bike rental in Braunlage

Can I also participate with an e-bike or pedelec?
Of course!

What do I have to bring?
Participants who are under 18 years old, please bring a phone number of a reachable legal guardian!

Drinks, bars, glucose (important for diabetics), money for a coffee break, clothing suitable for the weather, tools, pump, repair kit or spare tube. We certainly have plenty with us as touring companions, but not in all sizes and not for every bike....
