Three Valleys Circular Hike

The starting point of this challenging circular route is the central hiking trail signpost at Hotel "Harzer Land" in Allrode. From here, you follow the Bode-Selke Trail (marked by a green triangle), which passes Hotel Resort Waldesruh and later follows alongside the Sellebach and Luppbode rivers to the white bridge. Here, turn left towards Windenhütte and follow the yellow/green triangle marking.

Passing Jagdschloss Windenhütte (a place to stop for refreshments), continue towards Altenbrak (marked by a red dot) up to the shelter hut, then about 30 meters to the right to the left-turning path into the Kleine Mühlental (marked by a green dot).

Upon arrival in Altenbrak, the path runs along the right side of the Bode river on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg (green witch) to Treseburg. Here, at Hotel Forelle, turn right to continue to the spa park along the road to Allrode, then follow the Luppbode river (marked by a red bar / yellow square) to the Rabental turnoff. Follow the red bar / yellow square marking through the Rabental valley back to the starting point in Allrode.

B6n exit Thale, continue via L240 via Warnstedt to Thale, continue on L240 to Friedrichsbrunn, from there on L95 to Allrode
