Cozy healing climate hiking route through the forests of Hahnenklee.

This path starts below the Stave Church and runs not far from parts of the Upper Harz Water Management. It goes past the “Upper Grumbach Pond” to Café Egerland. Now you hike at about 580 m above sea level along the lower shore of the “Middle Grumbach Pond,” and then on to the “Upper” and “Lower Rafting Ponds.”

Directions

This path starts below the Stave Church and runs not far from parts of the Upper Harz Water Management. First, you start on the flat “Lower Auerhahn Path” and turn left to follow the path to the “Upper Grumbach Pond.” Follow the green triangle on the right at the end of the pond. The flat route to Café Egerland is also suitable for wheelchair users. Now you hike at about 580 m above sea level along the lower shore of the “Middle Grumbach Pond,” and then continue to the “Upper” and “Lower Rafting Ponds” until you follow the path marking on the right at the end of the shore. Then enter hiking path 5G or the Fairy Tale Path, which leads you directly back to the Stave Church.
