The pond route invites you to discover the interesting World Heritage Site "Upper Harz Water Management" with its ditches and ponds. The trail into the Innerste valley is challenging; better to push when wet! After the ascent from the Innerste valley, several ponds offer perfect swimming opportunities. Some short single-trail sections increase the fun factor.
