Together, the nature park mascots Josephine and Konrad follow the course of the Selke from Meisdorf to the Selke Mill. They tell us what there is to discover

in little stories.

Especially young audiences can look forward to an adventure of the nature park mascots Josephine Auerberg and Konrad Kauz at almost every one of the total 36 stations. Both, as large wooden figures, mark the entrance gate to the Selketal hiking area near the Annenbrücke in Meisdorf. From there, it goes through the Selketal to the Selke Mill – always along the banks of the beautiful Selke river. Those who do not feel physically challenged enough just by hiking alone are welcome guests at the equipment of the integrated fitness trail. On the section between the Annenbrücke near Meisdorf and the junction of the Lumpenstieg, Josephine and Konrad show at ten stations how the body can be strengthened. Further along the route, three adventure stations invite you to discover nature in a completely different way!

Directions

The nature adventure trail begins in Meisdorf and leads along the Selketal-Stieg for about 10 km through the Selketal to the Selke Mill. Entry is also possible at the hiking car park at the Gasthof zum Falken. Those who want to make a southern detour on the return journey from the Selke Mill hike via Forsthaus Wilhelmshof along Friederikenstraße and then choose either the Annenweg or Hirschsteinweg back into the Selketal. Going north for a detour is also possible, for example, through Lange Tal up to the historic state border and over Meisdorfer Trift and Lumpenstieg back to the inn "Zum Falken". To make sure no one gets lost, the Harz Club has signposted the most beautiful hiking trails.
