Two playgrounds and 8 stations provide lots of fun and interaction for all hiking enthusiasts with their ball runs, complemented by extensive information in words and pictures on the steles, enhanced by audio stations that encourage listening in multiple languages (German for adults, German for children, Russian, Danish, English, Chinese). The HARZGERÖDER KUGELsPASS also touches 2 stations of the HARZER WANDERNADEL.

Directions
Starting at Station 1 with the first playground, the path leads from the city center out towards the Teufelsteich to a first elevated area at Station 2 with views and panoramas. Directly on the path are ancient gnarled trees with hollows that provide habitat for various animals. After Stations 3 and 4, the path near Teufelsteich continues towards Birnbaumteich, where, surrounded by primeval nature, Stations 5 and 6 are reached. Afterwards, you pass the dam of Birnbaumteich and hike through a section dominated by mixed forest and dense shrubbery, which features the stamp location "Hellergrund" of the Harzer Wandernadel, before Station 7 once again inspires hikers to interact as all previous stations did. Via the second stamp location of the Harzer Wandernadel at the portal of the Glasebach tunnel, you reach Station 8, the Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach with the second playground.

There are two options for the return trip from the Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach Straßberg to Harzgerode:
by bus (line 254): bus stop "Straßberger Stadtweg" (near the fire station depot at the parking lot below the former school Straßberg) reachable on foot via the access road to the mining museum after about 800 m from the entrance "Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach Straßberg"
by Selketalbahn: stop Glasebach, reachable on foot via the hiking trail (yellow dot, direction Bärlochsmühle) after about 1 km from "Radstube Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach Straßberg"
For the return trip from Harzgerode to the Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach Straßberg, there are also 2 public transport options:
by bus (line 254): bus stop "Harzgerode-Bahnhof", reachable on foot from Station 1 of the HARZGERÖDER KUGELsPASS after about 100 m - get off at Straßberg at the bus stop "Straßberger Stadtweg" and then continue on foot via the access road to the mining museum, after about 800 m the parking lot "Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach Straßberg" is reachable
by Selketalbahn: Harzgerode station, reachable on foot after about 100 m - get off at the stop "Glasebach" in Straßberg, then continue on foot via the hiking trail (yellow dot, Bärlochsmühle) to the "Radstube Bergwerkmuseum Grube Glasebach Straßberg" and then further to the parking lot at the entrance to the mining museum
