The Hasselkopf trail is a beautiful ski hiking route at an almost level altitude of 600 m above sea level in the Brunnenbachtal area, Kaiserweg, and the Kapellenfleck nature reserve.
The total elevation gain is 265 m. At the "Schweinepfahl" you can switch to the South Harz trail (direction Stöberhai), the Kaiserweg trail (direction Wieda), or the Ebersberg trail (Hohegeiß).
DSV Premium Trail
This trail is a certified DSV Premium trail.
Together with municipalities in West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Foundation for Safety in Skiing (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have promoted a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz over the past years. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, marked with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
