The HARZ treetop path can also be experienced as a circular hiking route. With the purchase of a combination ticket (treetop path including ascent or descent), the circular route can be walked either from the exit of the treetop path or vice versa from the Großer Burgberg.

Since the newly opened BaumSchwebeBahn Harz in August 2020, you can now also leisurely glide down from the Großer Burgberg to the treetop path.

Directions

Connection from Großer Burgberg to the treetop path, the 2.2 km route has a moderate ascent.
Alternatively, two further marked variants of 1.9 km and 0.7 km are available!
The latter is very steep! Please observe the warning notices!
