Cross-country trail at Ziegenberg - Buntenbock

The route is very varied and runs over meadows and through forests, with easy to moderate ascents and descents, in several loops east of Buntenbock.

As a variant, the course can be extended by taking the linking trail to Clausthal-Zellerfeld. This additional section is easy to ski and largely leads over beautiful mountain meadows. (The parking lot at Schützenplatz in Clausthal can also be chosen as a starting point)

DSV Premium Trail
This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail .
Together with municipalities in the West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety Foundation in Ski Sports (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years for a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails were certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria , marked with a uniform system and equipped with information boards.
