- from Braunlage via B242, towards Tanne
- from Nordhausen via B4 to turnoff L98 Benneckenstein towards Tanne
You can reach the Harz town of Tanne by bus from the Harzer Verkehrsbetriebe:
- from the direction of Wernigerode
