Directions
From the parking lot (S) at the swimming pool, follow the Baudensteig into the Tiefenbeek Valley – direction Großer Knollen –. After about 700 m, turn right onto a beautiful path and sportily ascend the Baudensteig. Alternatively, follow the forest road. Both paths meet again at the Otto-Hermann-Hütte. Continue on the Knollenstraße to the Großer Knollen (observation tower and lodge). From the tower (1), you have a fantastic panoramic view over the Harz to Thuringia. After a rest at the lodge, the descent begins towards Jägerfleck (2). From the hut, go down via the Invalidenweg into the Siebertal. Through beech forests into the valley. Turn left to the inn "Zum Paradies" (3). The path runs parallel to the road towards Sieber. At the entrance to Sieber, turn right through a small alley to the river and cross a footbridge back to the parking lot at the swimming pool.
