Winter hiking trail Alte Bobbahn - Wolfsbachtal - Gretchental - Hohegeiß

The start of this hike is at a sharp bend of the Schützenplatzweg near the house of the "Erlebnistage Harz". After a few meters in the forest, you will encounter the extension of the Bohlwegloipe, along which you continue parallel until a fork in the path. There, turn right onto the "Alte Bobbahn", go downhill to Wolfsbachstraße, then turn right uphill towards Hohegeiß to the Gretchental and into the spa park of Hohegeiß. The Wolfsbachtal is a nature reserve, and the described path leads you once above and once below the nature reserve "Dicke Tannen".
