Wellner Weg-Kellwassertal - Altenau

The route starts at the Schultal car park in the centre of Altenau. Opposite the car park is the turn-off to the street "An der Bornkappe".

Walk about 50 m uphill on this street and then turn left onto the forest road, the "Wellner Weg". Follow the "Wellner Weg" for about 3.5 km. Then turn left and head towards Kellwassertal, Okertalsperre. After about 3 km you will reach a crossroad; keep left here. After about 1.5 km you will reach another fork. From here, please turn right down to Hüttenstraße. Turn left up Hüttenstraße to the town centre (roundabout). Turning right leads you back to the Schultal car park.
