You walk part of the Brocken circular route of the Harzer Hexenstieg until you cross the B 27. Follow the path towards Silberfuchsfarm along the Bremke, which was the border river to the former GDR until 1990. Then you walk above the Warme Bode towards Wietfelder Straße and the spa park. The beauty of the Bodetal, which you can see from here, compensates for the fact that the path is almost continuously paved at this point. From the spa park, you walk a short stretch along the former route of the South Harz railway towards the starting point of the route.
