You can reach Benneckenstein by car
- from the direction of Wernigerode via the B244, turnoff Elbingerode B27 then continue to turnoff Königshütte B242 and in Tanne to L98
- from the direction of Braunlage via the B242, turnoff Tanne to L98
- from the direction of Nordhausen via the B4 to turnoff L98 Benneckenstein
There are sufficient parking spaces in "Jahnstraße", "Am Waldschlößchen" and in the "Unterstadt".
You can reach the Harz town of Benneckenstein by bus from the Harz Transport Company:
from the direction of Wernigerode
from the direction of Blankenburg
from the direction of Braunlage
or
by the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway from Wernigerode or Nordhausen.
