The route leads from the southwestern edge of the Harz to the Clausthal plateau.

Directions & Parking facilities

**Public transportation**From the Osterode-Mitte train stop, it goes about 1.5 km east through the old town towards Freiheit. On the other side of the Söse at the large "Bleichestelle" parking lot, it goes onto the three MTB routes OS1, OS2, and OS3.
