- Start: The entry point is at the northern edge of Hohegeiß on the B4 or about 1 km further north at Bechlerstein/Barbecue area or at the southern point of the Gretchen valley (direction Wolfsbach mill)

The large Ebersberg circular route of 8.3 km runs at an altitude of 620 – 680 m with a total ascent of 80 m.
