  • Start: The entry point is at the northern edge of Hohegeiß on the B4 or about 1 km further north at Bechlerstein/Barbecue area or at the southern point of the Gretchen valley (direction Wolfsbach mill)

The large Ebersberg circular route of 8.3 km runs at an altitude of 620 – 680 m with a total ascent of 80 m.

Via Ebersbergstraße to the zero point, you reach the connecting route to the Braunlage trail network (Hasselkopf trail) or the South Harz trails (Kaiserweg or South Harz trail). Via Ebersbergstraße towards "zero point" you reach Hasselkopf trails, Braunlage, Braunlage trails, Kaiserweg trail, Wieda, South Harz trail, Bad Lauterberg/Bad Sachsa

DSV Premium Trail
This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail.
Together with municipalities in West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have committed in recent years to qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails were certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.

Currently closed due to forestry work.
