Always follow the signs for route 7, turn left at the Green Triangle, and continue straight ahead. From the forest road, you can make several short detours to the left to meadows with a beautiful view of Hohegeiß. The route continues straight until a wide path turns left and leads back to the parking lot. Arrival by train: \- From the south: via Walkenried station or Bad Sachsa station. Direct transfer there to bus line 470 towards Braunlage. \- From the north: via Bad Harzburg station; from there bus line 820 KVG. Via Wernigerode station: line 264 HVB. Both to Braunlage central bus station, where you transfer to bus line 470 VSN towards Hohegeiß.
