A simple training circular route at an altitude of about 570 m with a total ascent of 10 m on flat meadow terrain.

(Wed, Fri, Sat illuminated from 7-9 pm) or with a larger "loop", moderate difficulty, with a total ascent of 20 m, through beech forest on the Hohegeißberg with a length of about 2.8 km.

This trail is a certified DSV Premium Trail .
Together with municipalities in the West Harz and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Foundation for Safety in Skiing (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have worked in recent years on the qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria , marked with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
